Bought these on a whim to replace the original grates that were still fine, but the bottom of the grill continued to flare up and burn anything that wasn’t cooked on super slow. Put these on and got great results almost immediately. Saved me having to buy a whole new grill.

Great point about grease and debris. On well loved grills, do clean out the bottom of your grill under the grates. You will be surprised how much fire starter builds up there. With GG in place much of the debris will stay up top in the valleys. We suggest brushing debris to the back and letting it build up at the back of your grill. Once a month or so just lift out your GrillGrates and deposit the debris in the garden or garbage. You will be surprised how clean your grill will stay. #GrillGrateful #GrillOn

These grates are simply awesome. One thing you won’t be happy with is when it comes time to flip them from flat side to raised side. It is a holy mess. It is often that I want to use both at the same time or flip them. It is such a messy pain that I ordered another set and bought a second Weber grill. Now I am totally happy.

Brad here- The Scraper Tool will make quick work of the flat side and have it ready to grill in a few passes. I always have at least one panel flipped over to the flat side for a final hard sear. #grillgrateful

I had read the reviews on these and was feeling worried after I clicked “purchase”. After grilling on them for a couple months I can say the hype is justified. These grates are a game changer. Your heat will be more even, your sear marks will be second to none, and the flavor you get is a marked improvement over the standard grates. Don’t be afraid of having a little gap if they don’t cover 100% of your grill. The airflow is helpful in regulating temps and I never feel like I’ve lost any noticeable amount of space.

These are a bit pricey but if you have the money you need to do yourself the favor of buying these grates.
